SPX INFO.

Above, a selection of some of the wares I’ll be peddling at table #J5, which I’m sharing with Youth In Decline‘s Ryan Sands and Jane Cho. Random bibs and bobs, plus a NEW SMMA MINI (aka the LAST SMMA MINI ever).

This One Summer will be available at the First Second table. It’s nominated for an Ignatz too! I’ll be signing on at First Second on Sunday 2-3. Or whenever you catch me at #J5.

I’m on one panel. Sunday, 12:30, White Flint Auditorium.

Stories of Girlhood: What is the difference between writing about girlhood and writing for young girls? What can we generalize about the experience of girlhood in Western culture? And how do we express that in words and images? Moderator Ellen Lindner (The Black Feather Falls) will consider these questions and more with artists Jillian Tamaki (Skim, This One Summer), Aisha Franz (Earthling), and Melissa Mendes (Freddy Stories, Lou).

LesMiserablesFinal2

This is the front cover of the Penguin Graphic Classics Les Misérables that I illustrated. (Just the cover. Not the insides. You’re on your own there.) But this is just the front! It’s a full wraparound (with a very, very thick spine and french flaps). Will post the full thing when I get a physical copy. The book is on sale Feb 2015.

View the others in the Penguin Graphic Classics here. AD Paul Buckley.

P.S.! I am much better these days at updating the Tumblr version of this blog. #2014

Finally finished this weird-ass mini-quilt. Just don’t ask me what it is or what it’s for.
